Just taken my winter jacket to my high street repairs & alterations lady for a new zip.

Her price? £11.00 for a new zip.

...and the prices at Lancashire Sports Repairs?

£15 for a slider or £37 for a zip!

Mine costs a fortune, it's the missus that repairs my kit. Crash damaged kit gets extra ear ache. LOL

Everything else I do myself; my winter tights have got all kinds of stitched repairs. I just don't own a sewing machine.
