Hi All,
Just started a new job that I can actually cycle to (route here!) I'm looking to get hold of a recumbent trike for a bit of a change, and as I know the quad isn't suited to the Loop Line path, but I'm not really looking to spend £1000's on one. I've come across the KMX Typhoon, and was just wondering if anyone has any experience of them? I've spoken to a local-ish KMX dealer who is getting a demo model in for me, but that won't be for another week or two.
From various posts I've found in a search of the forum, KMX seem to be seen as the Apollo's of the recumbent world. For those unfamiliar with it, the Loop Line is an ex-railway line tarmacced path, so off-road capabilities are not neccessarily required, and it looks to me as if it may be possible to swap the stock rear 20" wheel out for something a little bigger.
I'd love to get a new Ice Trike or Windcheetah, but simply can't afford it, and second hand offerings on ebay seem to be slim at the moment! (If anyone is looking to sell something, please drop me a PM!)
Thanks,
Ian
