Has anyone tried this and is it worth the money???

the only time I see it on a menu is when we are out with other people and don't want to look like a dick for ordering it (it was £50 on the menu today)

Will need to get it the next time I'm in with just me and Mrs Greedo

Kobe beef (神戸ビーフ, Kōbe Bīfu?) refers to beef from the black Tajima-ushi breed of Wagyu cattle, raised according to strict tradition in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. Kobe beef is renowned for its flavour, tenderness as the cattle is massaged by hand on a regular basis, and fatty well-marbled texture

I had some last week in Atlanta US, justed tasted like a very good steak to me. Then again, all the steak I have eaten in the US is better than the UK anyway.

Several years ago, a Japanese friend prepared some for me. It was *wonderous* It literally melts in the mouth. It is like no other beef.

I agree with Waffles on this one, it is in a league of it's own when it comes to steak, but so is the price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No wonder the fillet in the place i was in was 50 quid. it must cost a fortune paying for all those cows to get into the swimming baths

that's it. I'm going back there in the spare day we have inbetween Christmas and New Year. Massaged, beer drinking, swimming cows. I have to try this.
