Does anyone have any experience of KOGA RoadRacer Ultegra I was at Cyclesense in tadcaster today picking up some bits and bobs and the conversation came round to upgrading from my 2010 Specialized Secteur Elite to a carbon bike next year and I mentioned that I saw that they sold the cube bikes, but they recommended the KOGA RoadRacer Ultegra at £1500 so I wondered if anyone knew about these as it seems like a nice spec bike for the money.

Got one of these from cycle sense. The guys push them there as they're a dealer for them. That said.

Great bike. Really good and comfortable riding position. Good kit but have upgraded wheels and brakes on mine. Great value and unique look as hardly any out there

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
Just a thought - doesn't ' KOGA RoadRacer Ultegra' lead you believe that it would have a full Ultegra groupset? - including brakes and chainset? Not the only brand to do this, bit naughty IMO.

It is common to skimp on the brakes. With regards to the crankset, it is increasingly common to see 3rd party cranksets complete the bike build, since Shimano got on the press fit game late after BB30 started taking off, so many frames with BB30 bottom bracket shells come with other cranksets from outside of the groupset, unless you buy SRAM (and maybe Campag, not sure on this). Not sure if this is a BB30 frame and chainset, but even if it isn't it doesn't surprise me much. The Ultegra chainset is ugly as sin anyway.

Looks fairly standard to me. Would have been better with Ultegra brakes on it though.

Agree with you Rob.

Ultegra crank ugly. Fsa gossamer is slick and quiet and looks ok

Koga brakes on it were pretty flimsy I've fitted ultegras.

I have a (CX) Gossamer chainset on my Giant and it works well and looks gorgeous. The Ultegra chainsets are seriously ugly things imo.

Very nice looking bike btw.
