The graun has an article about Kombucha today....

The BTL comments are mainly of the predictable "hipster"/"fad" variety, although I suppose coffee and tea were hipster fads once upon a time.
Anyhow, it's a fermented tea drink originally from China or Russia I think. Someone gave me a Scoby recently, a big slimey bogey-like looking thing that carries out the fermentation, and I was going to trying brewing some this weekend.
Anyone tried it?
