Didn't change much ....I guess 12 k.wouldnt . I think jai would have gained a bit of time on pidders over the longer course ...not much
Big time gaps can open in a short time on Bola del Mundo though and he lost quite a chunk on Angliru. He also needs to be aware of crosswinds tomorrow as Hindley has a stronger team to look after him.
As a armchair fan UAE have been by far the best team to watch....I think with the original ITT course today Almeida would of had a good chance at top step on the podium...still has a chance I guess.
But 7 stage wins and even a second place on the podium ain't too shabby.
He tends to crash a fair bit and chose to take the safe money bag to be a very high class lieutenant. What's Vine's deal: he can climb with the best and time trial too.
Can he just not put it together consistently, is he not cut out for leadership, or does he just like snorting the big spondulics for de luxe domestiquing with the Arabs?
Pray for wind....
The forecast hasn't really changed much from yesterday, maybe very slightly windier but still nothing about 18 km/h, so nothing to suggest it's worth thinking about
Direction.?
