Won the intermediate which is 20 points - just 5 fewer than Philipsen's 2nd place. Philipsen didn't contest the intermediate.
Most points today was Vernon - 4th at the finish and 2nd at the intermediate for a total of 36 pts - one more than Mads.

Team Time Trial tomorrow. Looking forward to some really dreadful misunderstandings, and possibly an organisational cock-up or two.

Failing that, some really nice disciplined team riding.

Turner got the call up on Thursday. Pickering got an even later call up on Friday and wasn’t at the team presentation.
