You can understand why Ayuso is miffed, when he’s expected to work for Almeida yet Vine seems to have carte blanche.

For a young rider (he's still only 22) it does feel like they've mismanaged him. I don't know what his career progression was supposed to look like but it doesn't feel like it's been clear and agreed by him and the team - but they've got a lot of cooks at UAE and Pog doesn't always leave leftovers for the other GC riders, and when he does it's sometimes short notice.

He's said he's going to give it a go, but Danish coms are saying it's a lot harder than the profile suggests. Could well be GC action if the break doesn't stay away

If you look at the profile, three of the first four climbs have short descents in them. So, those average gradients are misleading and the climbing will be significantly steeper.
Those last three climbs are just steep.
