Mancunian in self imposed exile in leafy Cheshire
Brighton and Hove council have purchased a load of shipping containers to be turned into homes for those that are currently homeless.

I like creative ideas and solutions but I am not so sure about it.

Shipping container sheds though...that may be interesting! Are you going to carpet it?

You dont want to go there. I recall it getting quite heated!

Containers can be used in interesting ways but I'm not sure how they hold up as housing. Anyway, there was a thread on that one of course. A container shed would be interesting. How many bikes could you get in there? Imagine that?

A container would make a fine home, as long as it was insulated and fitted out properly...

At work, we keep our electric truck in one, and in another we have two Maximus trikes, plus a huge amount of random stuff.

NT - why not get one, and paint it in a perfect trompe l'oeil style to blend into the front of the house/driveway etc...;)

if you have ever slept in one, you will know that they run with condensation, but they can be made quite snug in poor weather.
