I like the idea, but I fear without the all-important testosterone it will be a stream of posts saying "I had a thoroughly uneventful and pleasant ride today and didn't have an altercation with anyone, for the 5th year running"

Can we have a Gentlemen's Commuter forum? What piffle!

Good idea, Gentlemen must be properly attired to join, tweed jacket and brogues. All members bikes must have Brooks saddles

Only "manly" things may be discussed, such as how to light a pipe whilst cycling and where to buy cufflinks to match your bike.

Why on earth would women need to commute?

Surely it can't be that far from the sink to the cooker

My kitchen is so small, I can't actually fit a bike between the sink and cooker, let alone ride it!
