And UCI say they are waiting to see USADAs evidence before reaching a decision. WADA has backed USADA though.

I think this is likely to get very very messy from here on in and Travis Tygart may well end up regretting his actions.

There is a school of thought developing that this is in fact Armstrong's aim.

Who really benefits from all of this? Armstrong's publicity machine.
Who has no need to pursue this principle of unfair advantage if there's no real evidence from so long ago? The USADA

Who cares if Armstrong, the arrogant self publicist, gets his come-uppance but still manages to make money out of it all? Not me.

There are suggestions circulating that UCI and USADA will have to go to CAS for a ruling on who has the right to strip his titles and ASO is saying they are sitting on their hands until that is decided. Meanwhile UCI has said its doing nothing until it has been presented with the evidence to strip his titles. WADA OTOH has thrown its weight behind USADA but their statement sounded a bit like payback for Vrijman but then it also raises the question about what is the point of WADA if he can have doped over all those years of suspiscion and they couldn't catch him once?

Nike have come out with a statement of support so I suspect this will elevate Armstrong back from a fading star in the media firmament to a headline act as the hero who was brought down by the system.. But time will tell.
