I have been watching this series on Netflix with my wife - she loves it but I hate it.
It is so phoney from the field work to the American accents - from the music to the anachronistic dialogue - from private flying of a Tiger Moth during war time to too much to list.
Did anyone watch it?

Totally missed Land Girls. It was on at a time that I wasn't watching the TV. I'd seen some trailers but it didn't really look my type of thing.

Would this be the series that was on TV?
If so, from where did you get the impression that the fieldwork was incorrect. Most still required a large amount of manual labour. From tramming hay to actual crop work.
Slow, often messy but still it was done.

No didn't see it, first I've heard about it.
Surprised to hear there were US accents, local accents and some Irish would have been expected.
