I speak French with a 'German' accent, apparently.

I'm a strong believer that anyone CAN learn a new language, at least well enough to get by with a strong accent. All it takes is total immersion in that language. After all, in the ancient world and these days many people were/are multi-lingual. If they could/can do it then anyone can.
And apparently I speak German with a Swiss accent and French with a Romanian accent.

I speak English, with varying accents (currently going slightly northern), and French pretty fluently (although again with an English accent), and by this time next year, I aim to be competent in Spanish. I can also recognise some Polish (mainly warnings to children)

A couple of years ago, I could also translate some Old Norse. Go me!

Hardly novelty but I have a degree in German and French, can more or less read Italian and Spanish, make a guess at Dutch if know the context

GCSE Latin but that's a very long time ago and I wasn't much good at it (only got a B  )

I speak Norwegian and Swedish fluently, although it's difficult if I'm speaking to Norwegians and Swedes at the same time, which I do most of the day at work.

Can get by in Danish, used to be fluent in French, and was half decent at Spanish.

Can get by in French but it's not as good as it should be...other than that I can spot the difference between Bristolian and South Somerset dialects, so I guess that makes I an expert on Wurzelish.

I used to pride myself on being able to ask for a hamburger with cheese in 5 (I think it was) different languages. A friend of a friend taught me it in Romanian too. I wanted to go to Romania for ages after that.
