Hi all,
I'm looking to see if anyone can recommend or knows about a good sized frame pannier bag.
The issue I've got is that I've rendered my back pannier rack useless by moving my daughter onto a rear mounted child-seat.
Although I've got front low-rider racks fitted, I've never felt that comfortable having any weight in them as it affect the steering, particularly if you've only for one bag, or one loaded more than the other.
Same goes for handlebar bags. Too small and didn't like the steering.
I've seen small frame panniers like this (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bike-Bicycle-Frame-Pannier-iPhone/dp/B003VZKVVE), but I won't get swimming kit (towel, etc) in one like that.
I've seen this (http://www.virtualvillage.co.uk/2-x-bike-bicycle-cycle-frame-pannier-black-tube-bag-004620-047.html) which looks bigger, but without an image of it mounted I've no idea of how it fits, etc and how big it really is.
Also how do I get round the fact that my brake/gear cable are running along the top of the frame?
Any experience or recommendations most welcome. I can't be the only person to want to have luggage, but can't use my rear rack.
Thanks alot,
Larry.
