I agree, haven't see LHC or his mum for quite a while in fact ever since it broke (have they repaired it yet?) and I think it is Large Hadron Collider, not as Yenners version.

Yes, there have been some collisions. The stuff before Christmas is fairly low energy stuff compared to what it can do (buidling up) and the first week next year is when the fireworks should all start. So if you're hoping for people on the news to start rabbiting on about doughnut dimensions and staus it might be a while yet.
