I read the OP at the time and it made me think

the trip home Monday and Tuesday have been respectivly horrific and nasty, much to be said for the original point I suspect

some incredible driving

Looks like I've already had my last commute of the year, enforced. I've got a fracture in my foot and am feeling very sorry for myself.

You misunderstood the meaning of Christmas break, didn't you BentMikey ?

Seriously though - sorry to hear that. Hope it's mended soon.

My last one should be the 24th. Hoping to bunk off work a bit early that day and get home without needing my lights.

Get well soon, BM.

24th, or perhaps not if the chance for a drink shows up

silly arse BM, how did you manage that, a relatively easy time to take the load off and rest it though

How have you been finding the headwind these last few mornings ? I've been glad I've not been doing my 10 miles into it - I'd have been shattered by now !!
As its likely to be free of ice now I took the Roseburn Path this morning you hardly notice it when you are there, it was a bit of a b1tch getting there though, straight into that wind. The other days I've took Dundas Street and at least the wind is pretty channeled there (head on ); coming home last night (via Broughton St) was a wee bit hairy as its more open to side winds.
