Latest post

Haven't seen it here (yet), but is there a way of finding the latest posts without going into each categorie to see if there are any new posts?

Do you mean like going to the first unread post in a thread? Threads with new posts have little orange box by the title, click on it to go to unread posts.

If you mean new posts since last visit, I think it's 'View New Content' - right hand side of the top orange stripe.

Click "View New Content" on the orange bar at the top

That's the one! The terminology threw me a bit, and I was trying to remember how it was on the 'old' forum!

Just wanted to avoid going through previously read posts and go straight to the newest hottest one.

How was it before? I've forgotten (already)!

Not really, but being in the Boys Brigade I used to be able to play 'Last Post' on the bugle!

What Arch says will work on all new threads but ones that were posted on the old forum unfortunately I think you have to read them again and then when new posts are made it works.

I've found that when I click on a post I've previously visited my second visit it goes to first new post in that thread. Does this work the same for others ?

If it was a thread created in the old forum I believe you go to the start until your session is updated. On the second visit its updated and you go straight to the new posts.

The more I use it the less I like it, view new posts that is. It doesn't seem to work properly and it certainly doesn't update quickly.
