My mother in Leeds has got Le Tour fever - it's fair putting me to shame. She had no idea what the colours stood for …'They want yellow knitted mini T-shirts and green ones and white ones and some of the white ones have to have red polka dots one.'

Great bunting! - but why does it have to be two-sided? you could get twice as many t-shirt shapes if they were only one layer thick. I get that you would then not be able to thread the string through the arm holes but you have to attach them anyway...
