I just brush them into a big pile on my driveway and take them to the local recycling place. Takes me about half an hour every couple of months.

EVERY couple of months? Summer leaf fall? Impressive!

That should suffice!

That's a wonderfully unintentionally hilarious film, by the way. My kids have it on DVD and it always makes me laugh.

You mean it's not supposed to be a comedy??

I think it's a superb film if you don't take it too seriously. The "survivalists" are brilliant!!

All leafblowers also suck (ooer!) as far as I know. And they all grind up the leaves and deposit them in a bag so you can make a nice compost with them.

This makes sense - never understood the theory behind blowing them around. Surely they'll just blow back?

Leaf blowers? Are they those things you see reduced in places like B&Q because they can never sell them and the folk I know who have one usually end up with them buried in the garden shed.

I really do like to see them put to good use mind, like when contractors cut the grass in our local village, one of them comes along with a blower and blows any cuttings on the road/paths back onto the grass;)

Ready for the wind to blow them all off again:laugh::sad:
