Yep or maybe Blue Loctite?. I'd be having a go at saving it for £200!.

Even modify the cap with a centre bleed screw so at least you could pump fluid through from the caliper end.

Yeah may as well get inventive. Not going to loose anything but I would seriously ask the person who worked on em wtf they were doing
