Learning a noisy musical instruments

Got me a digital saxophone,Yamaha yds120, Great for sitting there in the evening, plug in the headphones, not annoying anyone, does not really sound like a sax but the fingering is the same. so great for learning new pieces. a few different voices, The last thing is it does not take a lot of blowing, so easier to play than the alto.

If they made the YDS rechargeable I would have one.

i use a small power bank as it eats the aaa batteries.

I’d let him try a few and see which sound he enjoys making. Piano gives a good base, trombone is fun and loud, cello is lovely if he likes richer tones.
