Hey guys!

Happy New Year - hope you all have some great plans for touring adventures in this coming year!

Last year I finished cycling a year long loop of North America and it's taken a really long time to figure out exactly what it meant, and what differences it made to my outlook in life in general etc. I've written a new post that lists specifically what I learned, and I think what others would learn too, on a long distance multi-month bike trip.

Really hope you enjoy it and get involved in the four word exercise!

Here's the link:

Cheers,
Dave

A new post to your existing thread would have been fair enough - starting a new thread seems to be going over the top a bit.

Given that most people on here will be getting back to work this morning, a post on what they would learn from taking a very long holiday seems just a little bit tactless.

Or a post like that on here could inspire people going back to work to try new things! All depends on ones outlook.

Pauline the restart lady was of course from the League of Gentlemen - a fearsome creation - thanks for not flaming my forgetfulness - back to the touring.
