Leaves................

Most of the leaves in my garden are from my neighbours' trees.

I just love leaves. I use the rotary lawnmower to pick them up, shred them and compact them - all in one pass. Then on an active compost heap full of worms, and you get the most magnificent compost. Rich and weed seed free. I refuse to use peat compost and leaf compost is superb as a seed/striking medium.

There is a big tree opposite us that drops loads. You can guarantee on a windy day the whole lot lands in our front garden. It's sometimes been over a foot deep.

I've beat it this year, out early with the leaf blower and blown the lot over the road into one of the shared boarders (ie a bit of land with a few trees on which nobody owns).

Hate is a deep and emotional extreme /dislike that can be directed against individuals, entities, objects, or ideas. Hatred is often associated with feelings of anger and a disposition towards hostility.

Hatred can be the cause of a host of physical problems, including reduced immunity to illness, and increased vulnerability to diseases.

Oh dear, oh dear!................... Perhaps you should accept the fact that leaves are a part of life and save yourself from all this emotional distress.;)

My new neighbour has felled the trees whose roots ruined my garden productivity, covered it in autumn leaves and generally blocked the natural light, but were so loved by his predecessor.:smile::smile:

The only problem I have with leaves is when they cover the road. Then you have to watch out going round corners on your bike as they are very slippery as biggs682 so rightly observes.

This is not a problem in my garden. They are part of god's plan, if there is a god and it has a plan.
