If I'm honest, dull. Dull as dishwater. I'm lucky if I even see another cyclist let alone get a chance to race. It's not exactly a sight seeing tour either, unless Elland Road is on your bucket list.

I've been spoilt by a year commuting through central London - Waterloo to White City via Parliament Square, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park Corner etc. Guaranteed incidents, near misses, racing every day, both directions.

Don't get me wrong, I love Leeds but the cycling isn't inspiring me, in fact when it was a bit blowy last week, I was dreading it. Tempted by the car a couple of times. Maybe it's the time I'm out there - 0600-0630ish in the 1830-1900 home again. Maybe not a popular commuting time

Wait whilst it gets windy and you've the "Dalek" to pass.

Try the A58 for a reminder of what you're missing, if you want.
