our mahoosive beef has done 8 plates of roast dinners , and there is enough gone into the freezer for another 16-20 plates of food , that works out at just over a quid a plate of food. the cooking juices made the best beef gravy I have tasted for a looooong time.
What about Cornish 'Starry Gazey Pie'In general I would endorse your strictness in the matter of pie definitions, but there is a special exemption for Cottage Pie, Shepherd's Pie and Fish Pie. That's just how it is.
