I have just ordered 2 Lego Road Bikes. They release it on the 1st June. A late birthday present to myself.

They will sell like hot cakes.

I think they will release a series of different types og bikes.

My sister's brought my dad one! I'll help him build it!

There's a full size Lego road bike in the window of an office in Warwick St (just off Regent st) in London. At least there was last time I walked that way.

Here's a not very clear picture. Its even got a Lego cyclist on it with a Lego aero helmet

Absolutely, you don't want to "lego" that....

They were going to be 20cm, but no-one could fit the concealed cables.

I agree. If you can’t make it out of standard blocks then it doesn’t really count as Lego.

How many of those blocks are bespoke for that bike set?

The water bottle has already been identified as a Technic part. Possibly will come down to vert few but then those will no doubt have future uses. In that respect the same as the the tyres on the Ford Model T.

Price wise expect to see it well discounted by many sellers once the initial sales have occurred with Black Friday etc offers knocking a 1/3rd or more off.

I think we need to let go of the 'blocks' thing. Lego moved on years ago.

I know, but if you can’t make other stuff with the blocks in the pack it’s not really original Lego. It’s just a model kit made by Lego.
