Can't even to begin to imagine the pain he must of gone through.... Well done Ben....

Don't want to rain on his parade but there isn't an official world record for LEJOG and back. Someone from Leeds was trying to assert that such a record existed prior to making his own attempt last year but it was establish that no recognised cycling body or the Guinness Book of Records ratify such a ride. An obscure extreme sports organisation ratified a LEJOG and back for one of its members - perhaps it's that record he has beaten. EDIT - it is indeed this record that he's beaten.

Notwithstanding the legitimacy of a world record claim it is a magnificent achievement.

EDIT Having read his just giving page - Ben only claims to be attempting a new record not a new world record. What a modest and realistic chap. Must be his mates bigging it up on his behalf.
