I've got my sicknote in for manflu too; but won't be taking any of that vile lempis stuff. Speaking from previous experience, it just wards off the symptoms for them to come back another day, in a much angrier frame of mind. MTFU and take the hit, I say!
This is my worst dose of manflu for many years. Today is sunny, the wind has eased, and it's not even cold. And I'm stuck here climbing the walls, looking at 3 bikes which are all straining at the leash and raring to go. Even getting to the fridge feels like I've just done a 30 miler with too many hills. 2013 mileage target takes yet another hammering .
