Not exactly but "officers were called just before 15:00 BST to reports that a cyclist might have collided with a stationary lorry" seems rather strange for such an experienced cyclist. Maybe the investigation will reveal what happened or maybe we'll never know. RIP.

Yet another character from years gone by has gone to the cycle track in the sky. I had heard of him some years ago but never knew him. It is sad news when these people go.
