Hello everyone  , after much soul searching, researching, deliberating, agonizing, voucher seeking ... she has finally made it home, my first carbon bike.
Hope you all like it, got an excellent deal on the 2011 model with full Ultegra. Love the colour scheme

thank you all

Im so pleased with it, keep looking at it and pretending to ride it in the house like a little girl (sad I know!), dont have the heart to leave it in the garage yet!

By the way, I have one of those wall mounts with two arms. Is it safe to hang a carbon bike like that or would it cause two pressure points??
Oh and does it need a blanket LOL

And another thing. When I go on the drops, if I keep my elbows aligned to my body straight they touch the knees. Is this really bad? It never happened on my previous bike, but then again when I used to go on the drops on that one I felt a little over stretched.

Luscious looking! My first carbon this year was from a bike that had Sora to Ultegra. If you enjoy it as much as you did / do mine you will be going faster. Great brakes and very comfy hoods, road smoothing carbon and the bike has such a different feel; verrrry nice.

Maybe you need stem spacers to bring the bars up a little? Try adjusting the seat slightly and/or the angle of your bars. Sometimes, a few millimetres can make a huge difference. Ooh err!

Don't worry about getting dirt on it. It all wipes off easy enough.
Don't put it away for the winter type thing either. That is a waste. Your bike is made to ride... so ride it and enjoy.
