1.Bring back the Cycling Proficiency Test, and put it on the national curriculum.
2. Include compulsory cycle training in the driving test for able-bodied people.
3. Stand all new teenage learner drivers in a gutter and have a whoopie-cushion-exhaust Corsa go past them at 90mph 6 inches away until they learn it isn't fun or trivial.

I would have all the public transport, utility companies and emergency services run centrally and funded from national taxation.
I would restart a national pride in domestic manufacturing and technology.
I would legislate against domestic earnings being placed in overseas tax havens, if you earn it here, if you live here, you pay it here.
I would reduce all sporting activities to expenses only amateur status and pay the important members of society, our protectors, healers and makers, a higher wage.
I would increase fossil fuel taxation on private vehicles to encourage the use of alternative transport.

I would link management and directorship pay to the minimum pay rate of the company.
