Perhaps I should have put "Continuing the Alvin theme..." as I had originally intended.

Struth, I didn't think I was that old.

Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Over The Hill, have you still got a question?

I will do an easy one to get it going again although it is not really my turn as I had to Google it
(for those still mistified with the chipmunks question the chipmonks were named after the record labels owners or something like that)

So an easy one -

What unique coincidence occurred in the UK singles chart in 1985
I need the coincidence and the Artists

I will give a clue tomorrow if it is not guessed today

Ooo, I might be giving a clue to someone else, as I can't remember the details, but 'was that when there were two artists with songs of the same name in the top 10?

I seem to recall there was The Power of Love by Frankie Goes to Hollywood and a song of the same title by Jennifer Rush in the same year. But then I've got The Power of Love by Huey Lewis and the News going through my head, so I'm not sure which two were in the same year.

You seem to be there. I think all three songs were in the chart at the same time. It had been done with different versions of the same song but these were differnet songs with the same name.

So your go!

(P S Siadwell - have you got your set?)

OK, as Christmas approaches rapidly...

Who sang first on Band Aid's Do They Know It's Christmas?

and

Which musician or musicians was/were invited back for Band Aid 20?

Flip! There were loads of them

Boy George, Bananarama. Paul Young, Bono, Bowie, Sting/Police, Geldof and Midge I assume were in there. But I guess that was only a few.

Can anyone add to the list until we get a full house?

No, there's weren't loads if you read the question.

Paul Young sang the opening line and I think Bono was the only one on both.

Correct with Paul Young.

I would have also said Bono was the only one singing on both records.

Wikipedia reckons "Bono, Paul McCartney and George Michael were the only artists from the original Band Aid who had been asked back to lend their voices to Band Aid 20" although it doesn't list Macca and George as vocalists, so maybe they were asked but had the sense to turn the gig down.

Over to you Norm...

Hmmm...

A fairly recent one, then.

What concert hosted the Pussycat Dolls, the Foo Fighters and Madonna consecutively.
