It's that time of year again, the magnificant, post festive cultural and spiritual event that is the BDO world darts championship. And iam not taking the P,I love it.

Just done a 40 mile ride on dryish roads, under hazy winter sunshine, and got home to enjoy a thrilling battle of the arrows with a pot of tea and some cake. Severn more days of this to go.

I am loving it, loving it,loving it....I'm loving it like this!

The best thing about the BDO is it's on the BBC.

I will be watching, but I much prefer the PDC TBH.

Good fun, but as Smokeysmoo says, the PDC version is better quality.

I'm with you Vern, saw them live in a Rock n Roll musical called 'Yackety-Yack'at the Tricycle Theatre in the Mile End Road back in the 80s, up close and personal, they were brilliant.

I saw them in the early eighties to. They played in the refectory at Leeds University and are one of the best live acts that I've seen the entire audience were drawn into their high energy act.
