Absolutely, anything else just wouldn't be darts ^_^

[EDIT] but now they give them the chance to communicate with the outside world via message boards ^_^

Personally I'd rather watch paint dry, but darts did enable one of the best ad lib gags of my life...watching an old Errol Flynn Robin Hood movie on the sofa with my sis, and the bad guy has a damsel in distress, using her to shield him as he backs away along a wall. Mr Hood raises his bow, unleashes the arrow, and drills the cad, missing said damsel by a whisker. At which point, my sis says (with spot-on rising intonation): 'Onehundredandeighty!'

I challenge anyone to find a greater sport than darts. For excitement, tension, larger than life characters, atmosphere, pure athleticism and steely eyed skill nothing else comes close.

I don't doubt the skill and dedication but it is showing on sky this weekend and it is boring to watch. They have even been playing men v women to spice it up.
They should show ping pong for one. They have to serve, run round the table to return, then round the table again to hit back, then round the table again...now that's what I call great sport.
If you can think of a way to combine it with synchronised swimming, you might be onto a winner.
Or dressage - dressage darts, now that would have them flocking in.

Probably nowt TBH, but I've just never taken to him.

In the same way I don't like Ted Hankey, I was gobsmacked to discover he's only about 45 Hankey. I thought he was late 50's at best
Hehe, a fine figure of a man. I'm not really a fan of "The Count" either, but he's a great character and sometimes plays the villain to great effect. Good to see Jimmy Hendricks get through and he's up against the other youngster Richie George in the next round. Exciting times ahead!
