Lewisham Cycle Path Assault

Watchout if you use the cycle path that goes from Sainsburys' super store at Lower Sysdenham to Catford: a little thug jumped out of the dark and kung fu kicked me on the arm. Lucky for me I didn't come off, as he had four of his little retard mates with him. Having just avoided the usual suspects walking their pitbulls/rottweilers/alsations I thought I was home and dry, crossing the Rubicon (Southend Lane) to the relative safety of leafy Beckenham.

It also happened last night about 6.50pm to the same chap, same kids, this time he got off the bike and stood up to them, they ran away, cowardly bastards. I went through there last night at about 6pm and will tonight.

Please report the attack to Lewisham Police on 0300 123 1212. DC Clarke is looking after the above case. I know it may seem a hassle to do this but please take a little time to report it. They must be stopped.

I have had a few kids shout at me whilst going through a local "Estate", do they have special lessons at their schools in being an agressive bell end ?

I'll post the crime reference when I get the lletter back from Lewisham. That route can be a bit hairy at night. To be fair to Lewisham Council I did report a lot of lights out a couple of months back, and it seems like they are all replaced.

This attack would probably not have happened if the little turds hadn't had the opportunity to hide behind a temporary Gas Board enclosure that has restricted the path to single file for the last 4 months.

It may be wise in the interim, instead of turning left over the bridge then past the gas enclosure. Turn right into the road behind Sainsbury's, follow that, then through Sainsbury'd car park then into Southend Road.
