Does the zecto drive only charge when the LED flashes? To do so I've got to hold the cable and light, not very practical at work :-O

On mine, the green LED flashes when charging. The green light stays constant - i.e. not flashing - when charging is complete.
Why do you need to hold both? Can they not both be supported by something?

I gather as above it's dangling on the end of a short cable connected to the PC. You can get a 1m USB mini cable from Amazon for a quid:

Thanks. Its probably a dodgy unit tried it with different micro USB cables of different length (all work fine with my phones) but unless its held perfectly square after a few seconds the lights stop flashing and it doesn't charge; I've contacted wiggle to let them know that, given its only two weeks old I think they should replace it.
