Lezyne battery replacements

Hi there ive got 2 lezyne front lights The 500 XL and the 800 XL the latter is a Macro drive and the former a Hecto drive.Both are ready for battery replacements ,but i dont want to buy from Lezyne as they are so costly.Im wondering if any body has had experience of changing these batterys and could inform me of a third party battery supplier that has such batterys in stock. Any advice would be most welcome Thankyou

Not reached the point with any of my Lezyne lights where they need replacing, but my thought would be to take the light apart and identify which size of battery it uses and find a reputable source for them. You might need to find one with a wired connector built in and perform a little surgery to get the connectors swapped over.

After having had a Lezyne light explode,then burst into flames, whilst charging I, personally, wouldn’t mess about changing the batteries myself.

Ghee whiz that looks awful.I might just go to planet x lights instead of trying to diy myself.Thanks for the advice👍

We found that the micro-USC charging sockets tend to break off on the larger Lezyne headlights. They are pretty easy to get into, with a bit of thought.
