Anyone know if this will fit on a Giant Defy Advanced D Post ok without the adaptor please?. Not very explicit on some of the websites and I want to avoid having the faff of buying and returning. Also the site I want to buy the light from doesn't appear to sell the adaptor which means buying from elsewhere and paying extra postage for a £3 item. Interesting to hear any input from anyone with a D post what light they use/recommend. Thanks.

Should fit, but the rubber insert that lets them mount to D shaped seatposts securely is kinda needed.

Is there any reason you don't want to use it? If you've lost it they're easy enough to replace.

I might not have made myself particularly clear. I want to buy the light but the website I am buying it from doesnt do the adapter. I have found the adapter which I feel I will need for a more secure fitting on another website , but they want £2.95 for posting a £3 item. I asked as wanted to know if the Light fits D posts without the adapter which it seems it does, but not great. So I will
have to find a site which sells light and adapter to save on postage.
