My local store was dead at 8am, I find Lidl's kit to be slightly better on fit and quality than Aldi and now my winter kit will be put away in the coming month it was time to fill up.

I managed to pick up a decent Gillet, 3 x short sleeve jerseys, 2 x 3/4 length shorts, 1 x standard shorts, 2 x socks, track pump and mitts. All fit well and will last me a fair while until I get hold of some bib-shorts.

Store was very well stocked, so heads up for the bargain hunters :becool:

Thanks I'd forgotten:thumbsup:

I was there about an hour ago. No clothing left apart from XXL and Small! some gloves and socks left. Loads of helmets.( to wear not other customers!)
Bought a spare trackpump to keep at work for £4.99 and some specs!
A cyclist I know was there for the rechargeable lights which he swears by.

Got my gloves for the summer, and 2 kick stands to replace worn out ones.

Disappointed that there were no men's shoes.

Tinned fish and olive oil were there as ever so that'll save going there next week.

Actually, I did get some summer gloves, of which I already have several pairs, but there's nowt like stocking up. Fancied a spare mini pump, but they said 'presta or woods' valves... now, presta and schrader are what I have on my bikes, but I don't think I've had a woods valve since I were a nipper.... unless I'm mistaken about what they are.
Fancied a waterproof coat, but I have 4 already, and they seemed a bit heavy, and didn't pack down that small.
I never like their cycling shirts, just the design is generally ugh.
But their base layers are fab, but I have more than enough of those

Gloves (aka track mitts) are decent for £3.49, but the lighting sets don't look as good as previous ones - the led is at the back of the reflector and points directly forward, while their previous offering, though without rechargeable batteries, had a similar design to the IQ Cyo, with a roof-mounted led pointing down into the reflector, giving a superb light pattern with a bright "letterbox" on the road and a less bright spill to be seen by. On the plus side, they had loads of the £29.99 workstands which weren't mentioned in the flyer or on the website.

This is highly annoying to the folks that work during the day that appreciate this type of clothing. Do you think some people just stock up on the normal sizes and sell them on ebay or something?
