Looked at the 3/4 shorts today....are they any good pad wise?

This is highly annoying to the folks that work during the day that appreciate this type of clothing. Do you think some people just stock up on the normal sizes and sell them on ebay or something?
Yes, basically. You get raiding parties lined up as the store opens who look like they know what a bike is, but have never been on one. Wonder if they do the same when Lidl have fishing gear in, or riding gear.
Having said that, my localest most nearest one is quite the opposite... they usually have loads of stuff in (though the medium sizes go very quickly).

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
Do they ACTUALLY have small sizes this time, and are they ACTUALLY small? I haven't bothered to go this time as I have not found anything there that fits the last few times.

I've not bothered with their clothing since trying a medium gilet that was far too big for me. I might have a look at the base layer though with a view to carrying out controlled shrinking in the tumble drier!

Just got back from a lidl mission. Got shoes for 9.99. Look ok, i'm happy to give them a go. Got some gloves, needed some for spring (when it comes!) so that was a result. Got my other half a shirt and some gloves. All in all I'm pleased with my haul. I'll be more than happy if it all wears well.^_^

Lidl is definitely great if you are 5'10 Male Of Average Build. I wanted some red gloves, but only had one option because of the few larger sizes. Pretty used to this sort of nuisance, though.

I got the jacket, a base layer jersey and the glasses. I'm pleased with everything so I might go back and get the base layer shorts too.
