The glasses are pretty good - they were a favourite of mine, but the dog chewed the old pair (he was but a pup at the time).

Capt Hastings, Ben M, what shoe size are you after? I have the last lot of lidl SPD shoes (bought as spares, but never used) in a 43, and Mrs Monkey has been on at me to sell some of the bike stuff cluttering up the house for ages.

Thanks for the thought but I am now sorted in the foot region going to try my first clipless couple of miles later

How can I find out about Lidl doing this again in the future? By the time I got there (second day of promo), most of the stuff was already gone, or only dwarf or giant sizes left.

Goto their website and sign up for the email newsletter, along with aldi so you get a few days notice .Last time aldi had cycle gear in i was lucky enough to have booked the day off for another matter so i was at the door before it opened

The box says "9" in uk sizes, and thery definitely run larger than my Shimano shoes, so probably no good, I'd think.

Ahh well no good then , i have wide 8 feet.
I have some lake spd shoes that i had to have a 9 for a wide enough fit but the extra length does not help my pedaling style i was thinking of swapping them for some size 8 mtb shes if they were a more comfy fit.

Thanks very much for the offer, but sadly I am a 10/11

The black panels on the shoulders of the top give you that nice 80's 5 Star look!

Yes, have just been admiring mine in the mirror having purchased yesterday.
I noticed some motorists actually giving me a wider berth than usual on the way back.
Obviously having a Lidl Bread Maker strapped on the rear rack works wonders.

I used the track pump for the first time last night, and it's utter, utter rubbish.

Felt like it was going to come apart at any minute.

Went straight in the bin before it did any damage.

It's not often I feel ripped off by Lidl, but this was one of them.

I know it was only a fiver but it should at least be usable.

I got 2 of the jerseys. 1 red and black the other all black, a pair of tights and a cheap lock to use for quick park ups and together with u-lock. Jerseys are good and sleeves easy to push up when hot or pull down when stopped and getting cool.
I had a Aldi pump it was cr*p  . The adapter blocked up and just built up pressure in the pump not the tyre. Have cut adapter of and fitted standard brass fitting off my decathlon clever 900 (which I find I can only get 80psi from) and can get 120psi easily :becool: .
