LIDL MINCE PIES - LOVELY!

I tried one of these at a friend's last week & they were good. In the Mail on Saturday magazine they rated them highest amongst lots of others so bought two boxes. I've just had one with my coffee & lovely.

If you've got time, buy some.

We have had a fairly comprehensive survey of mince pies at work. Third place Waitrose luxury minis, second place Coop irrisistble and the winner Lidl by a large margin.
Note to self lose weght! Next year promise.

Yes I did Jane and I did laugh. We could market them couldn't we? Have a great Christmas yourself. Nick & Vanessa are coming tomorrow for a cuppa but having dinner themselves. The pastry on those pies is melt in the mouth - and I don't normally like mince pies.

The idea of mince pie is stupid the fact its something people only eat at christmas shows its not worth eating at all. if it was worth eating it would be eaten all year round. Therefore i dont eat them at all.

I just tried to look up the ingredients and i found this user review.

It does not surprise me, you get what you pay for. It wouldnt surprise me if the company actually has wasps working in their factories instead of humans to cut costs.
