I went at lunch time the place was like a bomb site, no mens jerseys left thats what I was really after and a few mens jackes in XL or XLL. There were plenty of locks left and a couple of the other things computers, pannier and saddle bags, I didn't see much else. Oh I managed to grab their last track pump.

I got to my local Lidl about 11:30. Somewhat disappointed. They had no gloves left whatsoever. They only had one small ladies top, all the rest were large. They only had X and XL mens tops left. So I left with one small ladies top (excellent fit though, and in the colour I wanted - yellow) and a saddle bag. They had quite a few track pumps, locks and cycle computers left. Also a few panniers and saddle bags. There was the trousers left, but again all large sizes. Would have been fine for leg length but far too big around the waist. Cycling jackets likewise too big.
I fear there are far too many lady cyclists out there that get up far earlier than me. Next time I'm going first thing!

The track pumps seem ok so far - gauge agrees with my road morph, and it got the 'gators to their 95psi recommended pressure ok. Feel of them is awful - plasticky, and I was slightly worried that vigorous pumping would result in the separation of the handle from the rest of it.

Got some gloves, which are ok, and will stay as a spare pair for when my others are still wet after the ride in.

I need locks but I thought they were quite heavy to be carrying around so didn't buy. Wore the gloves on our jaunt though, first pair how much nicer it is cycling with gloves on. Don't think they'll last long though and actually don't think there is much difference in sizes. Bought small for boys and medium for me but we've swapped as DS2 wanted yellow to match his helmet!

I've not fitted the computer yet but out-of-the-box impressions are good. The quality of materials, fit and finish are all nice, if you'd paid forty quid for it you wouldn't be disappointed.

Our Local one last Night had the computers at £12.99 (maybe Stock from the last promotion) and Tops for $4.99 - The Tops are really good (Not the Zip ones that are in todays stores)
Went to another Lidl on the way to work at 8.10am which was deserted and had everything in stock so chose some trousers, a top, a jacket, Gloves and Lights (2nd Set)

Thanks for the tip-off on this. Got myself a toolkit, a footpump and a shirt. Hmm. Despite being XL, the shirt seems to emphasise quite unfairly the gut that cycling will hopefully rid me of. But at least all of my tyres are pumped up.

Went to my local store this evening after work.

Wanted to get one of the trip computers.

They had ONE thing left out of all the stock they had in - a light set that was falling out of the burst packet. ;)

Guy said the stuff was all pretty much gone by 10:00am.

Typical, wish I had been off on a rota day this morning!!!.

Fella said some folk were buying 3 or 4 of those trip computers at a time.
