Lost it, got it again.
Couldn't see the offer, but browsing the site I did come across the offer leaflet in web format:

I bought it few years back when it was £17 its just as good as a Lifeline one I got given (worth £45 at the time). $ years later none of the tools have worn on me.

bah, I'd love to buy it,, but already got a halfords one ( was getting fed up buying new tools, so thought, sod this i'll get the lot), two tool sets is probably a bit OTT

that chain washing thing looks err well 'cheap enough to try out' any thoughts ?

The chain cleaner looks identical to the one I bough a couple of years ago, it took a disliking to using white spirits and petrol in it, and over a period of time, warped and dropped to bits, otherwise it did a good job.

The chain cleaner is very good at evenly redistributing the muck and crap all over your chain and pushing particulate contamination further into the rollers and side plates.

Avoid.

I gave up on the use of chain cleaners a few years back and used the Mickle method instead. One of the drawbacks for me they'd fall apart or get broken easily. Cleaning wise they were not bad but not as good as I can get with baby wipes and my chain seems to last longer now I don't subject it to chemicals.

Interested in the tools kit? Would I use most of the tools on my road bike or this is the type of set which most of the tools don't match the bolts etc??
