Life expectancy of carbon fibre

Barring no hard falling of bike, what is a life expectancy of a Carbon Fibre bike. eg. failing of resin to bind effective

Longer than you would want to keep the bike!

I came across this very good article a while back.

Bottom line is. If the biked is looked after, then infinite.

And as far as I know the majority of CF bike manufacturers offer a lifetime frame warranty . Specialized (Of which I have 2009 frame still going strong) certainly do.

NO Rust. Providing the frame is well made with good quality fibres. As long as you want it to last ? 100, years+

Carbon fibre is less than 50 years old, so although it may be designed for a lifespan beyond that of humans, that design has not yet been tested effectively.
