Thanks everyone, just got through the 7000 barrier, but jeez, I thought I'd never get there, it has all slowed down since I've been on holiday!

Not to worry though, it'll pick up again soon. Oh and that old lamp I mentioned?? I'll photograph it today for the Vintage section, see what you think

Oh no, it has all dried up again and @Fnaar is catching me up in a slow motion race..... A bit like a sailing race with sod all breeze, its positively glacial here!

To be honest, just as long as I beat @dellzeqq, I wont mind as Fnaar is proving to be a worthy (slow motion) adversary!!

Although you clearly still have a bit of thumb to put the bandage on, and although I have no idea of the efficacy of hedge trimmers regarding digits, it does however indeed seem to be fortunate that you hadn't sharpened your scythe recently!!
