Not a pub name but the "theme" of the pub.
Cawsand in Cornwall, can't remember the name of the pub. I was invthere in the early 90's one lunchtime eating with my parents. Cawsand used to be a stop off port during the slave trade and the pub had memorabilia on the walls telling the story of what happened at that time.
Then a young black couple walked in.... saw what was on the walls and left sharpish, clearly angry.
I wonder if it's still there 25 years later?

Pub names often have a "moral lesson" in their name

The "Black Boy" was often shown with a black child being scrubbed in a bath.

Traditionally it was a "young lady" who had been less than faithful whilst her husband was away an trying to wash the child "white" before the husband came home
