Didn't want to post a week ago but our dog has been very ill and I thought we would not have to let got of another dog. In 6 months putting down 2 dogs.

So thought it would be a drama post.

She went into season 3 wks ago - which I posted and everything was ok. But then she went down about a week ago. No eating, no drinking, no nothing and so depresssed so we took her to the vets. She needed an emergency spay. The poor bugger also sanpped a fang tooth so has 12 stiches in her mouth.

She is ok and back to puppy Ellie . It has been horrible and very worrying.

So glad she's ok.

Big coincidence that, our dog, also called Ellie hasn't been eating for weeks, vet said it was down to the stress of us leaving her with relatives while we were away.

Horrible time isn't it when they're not well ?
all the best.

Glad she is Ok Snapper. Pets can be a real worry at times especially as they can worm themselves deep into your heart without you realising it until something like this happens. Hope her mouth heals soon.

Glad it turned out all right in the end.

I'm a big fan of spaying/neutering them whether they "need" it or not. I've been brainwashed in that respect but think it's right.

Pets are a bugger, aren't they?
Some friends of mine are about to lose their elderly cat (inoperable tumour) and it's going to be horrible for them. The worst bit is knowing that it's up to you to make all the difficult decisions because the animal can't tell you how it's feeling. There's always that 'did I do the right thing?' niggle at the back of your mind isn't there?

But Yay! for a happy puppy.

Glad to hear she's okay snapper ;)

One of my cats has been out for the past 2 nights in the pissing rain and wind, no point worrying about her I suppose as she has always turned up in the past, but she always does the more the one night thing when Mrs Noodley is away! And when the fields are full of tractors....

Sad news to report. She won't be coming back. Found today having been killed by a car about a mile from home :sad:;):
