Glad it turned out all right in the end.

I'm a big fan of spaying/neutering them whether they "need" it or not. I've been brainwashed in that respect but think it's right.

Hi Longers (no offence taken BTW).

We were advised NOT to have her spayed until we knew she had def had a season for 2 reasons. One, she could have already been done and two, the uterus is much more engorged with blood before the season which makes the op more risky.

Anyways, thanks for all your kind replies. She is now affectionately known as EllieNoWombNoFang.

IMO, I do think it was the broken tooth that made her feel so ill and the season was coincidental. But who cares? She is ok and the pet insurance are going to pay out. YAY!!!

Thanks very much everyone.

We all paid a visit to the location it happened tonight and my kids laid some flowers. My younger daughter pinned up a picture she had drawn saying goodbye and thanks for being a nice cat. My elder daughter made a card for the neighbour who found her saying thanks for finding her and allowing her to come home one final time.
