Little story .

We had our monthly meet up .In a pub in Leeds today
Bill one of the older blokes is going away again 8 days to Tenerife .This guy has been all over since retiring early with the rest of us .

Well he told us this little tale .While waiting in an airport lounge some young guy was playing a guitar and making every one happy .

When Bill overheard someone say "i wish i had brought the Piano "

"Why " was the reply .

"Because our tickets are on top of it "

Priceless,just brilliant .

You retired now, Postie? Me too at last, so I'm off up to Ribblehead in the sun and back via Hawes and Ripon. Looks like a cracking day for a change.

Took early voluntary retirement Aug 2006 .


The money was tooooo good to turn down .Plus the pension started straight away .

Great and i just got my bus pass in Feb now 60 .
And get this i will get a fuel allowace sometime of £250 .
